  • Search engine friendly external aspect with powerful dynamic database driven internal engine
  • Caching to file or memory for lightning fast response

  • Database activity optimised and minimised
  • Multiple Shipping tiers, fixed, by order size or weight
  • Short URLs and static HTML file appearance
  • Implementation with customer specific amendments factored in

Let's expand on a couple of interesting features for greater understanding. The static html aspect of this site means that every product page and category page looks like a fixed html page at the highest domain level. No parameters are passed in the URLs as these are not favoured by major search engines. This increases the search engine friendliness of your pages dramatically. However behind the scenes the system is fully dynamic and database driven so you have the power and flexibility of a products database driven system but none of the drawbacks.

Split Testing is the ability to have multiple configurations of your web site running concurrently at the same time. Using this feature you could for example test to see if free postage and packing draws in more customers. half your visitors get free P&P the other half standard postage charges. Run for a long enough period you can identify if free postage and packing is a bonus to sales or a drain on profits. If you do not run split tests concurrently but say run 1 week with free P&P and the next without you are not comparing apples with apples. Different times of the month people are more flush and willing to spend, seasonal differences also occur so concurrent real time split tests are fundamental to maximising sales and profits. Not just P&P, you can compare 2 or more similar home page featured offers to determine which one works the best, the more data you gather the better you become at understanding what exactly rocks your customer's boat.
